What’s going on? My name is Michell, and I first started exploring the idea of making money online back in 2017. Even then, I had a feeling the online world could be my way out — a fast track to freedom, flexibility, and a life on my terms.

But it wasn’t until recently that I decided to go all in — and let me tell you, the life I’m building now is a far cry from where I started. 🚀

The original goal was simple: I wanted to be home with my kids, create lasting memories with them, and, most of all, have the freedom to make decisions about my life without someone else controlling my time. 💯

Before this, I was just like everyone else — working hard in a corporate job, thinking I was doing the “right” thing. I was chasing the standard middle-class dream: pay off the mortgage, stay out of debt, take a family vacation once a year, and hopefully retire comfortably in my 50s or 60s. 💼🏠

But here’s the truth: I had no real savings. I never planned for retirement. I was just trying to survive, living paycheque to paycheque, hoping things would somehow work out.

Then life hit me — hard.

I lost my job… not once, but twice in my late 40s. First came the unexpected layoff. Then it happened again — with zero warning, no backup plan, and no safety net. That’s when it hit me: the “security” I thought I had was an illusion. 🚫

I realized I could no longer depend on anyone else to provide for me or my family. I had to take control of my financial future. I couldn’t trust another boss, another company, or another false sense of stability. I had to build something of my own — something that worked for me, no matter what.

And when I told people I was going to make money online and stop chasing traditional jobs, they thought I was crazy!

.“That’s risky!”

“What if it doesn’t work?”

“Maybe just stick to what you know.”

But here’s the thing… What I knew wasn’t working.

If I was going to take a risk, I’d rather do it for myself than for another unpredictable job opening.

Fast forward to today… I’m still building, still learning, and still growing. I’m not where I want to be yet — but I’m closer than I’ve ever been. And now? I’m finally in control of my future. I don’t rely on anyone else to support me or my family. 💪

The takeaway?

Don’t listen to the people who’ve never walked the path you’re meant to take.

If you want a different life, you have to be willing to take a different path. You can’t sit on the sidelines criticizing the game — you have to get in and play. 🤷‍♀️🏈
